Delete from inside the app

The fastest way. Deletion takes effect immediately:

1. Open the WeCamp app and sign in
2. Go to My Account
3. Choose Delete Account
4. Type the confirmation phrase to confirm — this cannot be undone

Delete without the app

No longer have the app installed, or can’t sign in? Email us at info@wecamp.life with the subject “Delete my WeCamp account”, sent from the email address your account is registered under. We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, then confirm by reply.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes the personal data linked to it, including:

• Your profile (name, email address, photo, sign-in identity)
• Saved and favorite campsites
• Your posts, comments, reactions and reviews
• Event registrations tied to your account
• Push-notification tokens and app settings

What may be kept, and for how long

• Payment and booking records connected to completed event registrations may be retained where needed for accounting, dispute resolution, or legal obligations, and are deleted when those obligations lapse.
• Registration details already provided to event organizers (for events you signed up to) are handled by those organizers for running the event; contact the organizer to request removal from their lists.
• Aggregated analytics that no longer identify you are retained.

Timeline

In-app deletion is immediate. Emailed requests are verified and completed within 30 days. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on the backup rotation cycle shortly after.
